Why we are using RAM?

Processor can only process datas that are stored in either ROM or RAM,where as Storage devices like Hard disk,CD-rom,etc.,are come under the category of NV-RAM (NonVolatile-RAM,hope you know what it means),hence you need to have a RAM inside your PC.Remember RAM can do many other things also.
